Feel The Rush by Kelsie Leverich - Blog Tour - Review

Synopsis:
The New York Times bestselling author of The Valentine’s Arrangement continues her sizzling series with a new novel of a plan that goes awry—in the arms of a soldier…

Picking the wrong men is a talent Meagan Mitchell has perfected. She’s sweet, confident, beautiful—and single. With her thirtieth birthday sneaking up on her, she needs a new plan. No more Mr. Wrongs or Mr. Bads, it’s time to find Mr. Safe…

Army Captain, Reed Porter, lives for the thrill—he’s an Airborne Jumpmaster with a rush addiction. He’s sexy and playful, and he quickly tempts Meagan with his rich Southern drawl and sinful looks. But slowing down and settling down are not in his agenda, making him exactly the type of man Meagan wants to avoid…

As their undeniable attraction heats up, Meagan has to decide if she’s willing to risk everything on a chance at love with a reckless charmer. Is she brave enough to bet her future—and her heart—on Mr. Thrill? Or will Reed finally learn that the feeling of a safe landing is just as addicting as the rush of the fall?

Excerpt:
He lifted the T-shirt over her head and tossed it to the ground. Then he took a moment to just look at her. The woman who had taken up residence in his mind—in his dreams—for the last week was right in front of him, and he wanted to make sure to embed the real image of her in his mind, because the memory of her from that night long ago did nothing to exemplify what was in front of him now.
“You’re staring,” she whispered shyly.
“I know.”
She slid her legs behind her and raised to her knees in front of him. Her tits were right in his reach, her nipples pink and taut, and he wanted to lean down and pull one into his mouth and roll it between his lips—but he didn’t. He was more interested to see what Meagan had planned now that she was on her knees in front of him.
She inched her body closer to him, but even then she still wasn’t close enough—not as close as Reed needed her to be. Reaching out, she grabbed his hands in hers then slowly brought one  to her mouth and pulled his thumb between her lips, sucking it gently. His eyes were fixated on her plump lips as she swirled her tongue around his thumb then released it from her warm mouth. She moved his hands down, splaying his palms over her collarbone, down over her tits—barely giving him time to enjoy the soft mounds before she skimmed them over her stomach. Just as he thought she was leading him to her sweet spot, to where he was itching to touch—to feel her warm and wet, coating his fingers—she wrapped his hands around her waist and pressed her body against him.
The closeness he was craving seeped into him as her soft, bare skin fluttered over his.
“Isn’t it more fun to touch than to look?”
Oh, hell, he was in for it with this woman.

Nikki's Review:
5++++ Stars

I'm honored that I got to be apart of this blog tour and read and review a book by an author I respect. Kelsie has a way with writing strong women so that you want them to be your best friend. This was no different. I would love to have friends like Meagan and Eva. Her writing style is simply beautiful. Its so easy to get lost in the world's she creates. It's also told in dual point-of-views between Meagan and Reed which is a huge plus for me.
I love The Valentine's Arrangement so when I started this book, I figured that would be similar to what I was about to read which would have been great. But Feel The Rush surpassed it on every possible level. Its been a while since I've had a book make me feel so many emotions at once. The banter between Meagan and Reed and the rest of the characters is witty, well placed, and flowed naturally. You have a romance most would be jealous of. Angst and heartbreak and surprise. It made me cry sad tears and broke my heart but it also made me cry happy tears and helped to mend my heart. Ladies, you're going to want to sit in front of an air conditioner or fan or some kind of cooling unit with a glass of ice water when you read the sex scenes because they are SCORCHING!!
Seriously, this book has it all!
Feel The Rush easily made its way to my Top Reads of 2013 list.
The characters were amazing. Meagan is such a strong heroine who can keep up with the boys without breaking a sweat while still maintaining her femininity. Reed has stolen my heart. No others need apply, I'm officially taken! He is just that amazing! He is everything in a guy you could want. Is he perfect? No. But does he give his everything? Yes. Yes, he does. Reed is soldier but he's also a thrill seeker and definitely had my heart pounding more than a few times.
All I can say is, everybody needs to RUN to their nearest online book retailer and purchase this book. When the paperback is released, buy it too! I know I will. It will not disappoint. Kelsie has proven once again why she is a favorite of mine. She has a fan for life in me. If I could give this book more than 5 stars I absolutely would!! Thank you for reading my review and I seriously hope you give this book a chance. I highly recommend it, especially for those who fell for The Valentine's Arrangement. For those who haven't read the first, pick it up too! They can be read as standalone's but you will want both! Trust me!
